| Subject: | tar 1.13.19-1 with Windows path |
I just noticed a problem with the new tar package (1.13.19-1) and Windows-style paths. When I give it a path with c:, it waits a while and reports "c: Unknown Host". For example: tar -tzf c:/Download/Devel/Palm/prc-tools-2.0.92-cygwin.tar.gz Quoting doesn't make any difference. It is definitely a problem with tar; the same thing happens if the archive is uncompressed. The previous version didn't have this problem. - Ian -- iburrell AT znark DOT com http://www.znark.com/ -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
