Hi Cygwin,

I was trying to figure out all what's below myself but got nowhere, so
thought that turning to the wisdom of this mailing list could be worth doing.

I'm running cygwin on windows 98 and have couple of questions:

1. I want to setup colors (foreground and background) of my cygwin console.
How can I do this?

2. Where can I find documentation on the consoles supported by cygwin?
I've seen configurations where the env variables TERM and COLORTERM where set
to different values (most noticeable cygwin, rxvt, rxvt-xpm, xterm).

3. How can I setup hostname for my machine?
At the moment running 'hostname' gives meaningless number.

Thank you,
dishlav
