Hi All... It has been a long time since I built OpenSSH. When I cd into the source directory and do the configure shown in the readme file, I get the following. $ ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --libexecdir=/usr/sbin checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output... a.exe checking whether the C compiler works... configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs. If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'. What do I have broken? Also, I have in my notes using --with-pcre as a configure otion. Is that needed (why/why not)? Thanks, ...Karl _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
