Just got inetd, telnet and ftp working (using a password file created with "mkpasswd -d"). It would be nice if one could have single centrally located passwd and group file so that each workstation could set up a symbolic link to these in it's /etc directory. I tried this- in general it works fine, but inetd seems to insist on a simple file, not a symbolic link. Is this worth fixing; ie would you consider supporting the symbolic link in a future release? Thanks so much to everyone working on Cygwin, I really appreciate the tools and the environment!! regards, Tom -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
