Hi,
I tried -P, it tries to write on the gmeta1.ps. I have a local printer- hp deskjet 722c and a network printer laserjet 1200. How to go about the UNC name.

lpr -P //host/name gmeta1.ps- what to put in //host etc. ?

Dilip paul

Use the '-P device' option to lpr or $PRINTER. You will probably need to
use the UNC name for the printer (//host/name).
