I want to compile using gcc to make use of 'configure', 'make', and 'make install'. I then want to link to it from within MSVC++. Is this possible? Can I simply link to the *.a file from MSVC++? Being new to makefiles & gcc, I'm also uncertain when & where I should be using --win32 and -mwindows.
