Hello,

I have the lastest cygwin with postgresql installed.
It seems like there is no $PGDATA directory. Anyone
know how to properly start the postmaster so that
the psql utility works properly:

psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socked "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?

Thanks,

Neil
