hello my name is alex, i program in C/C++ and java .. i could say that im interested enough whith what i do :). i usually program under linux and solaries .. somtimes under windows using java. i dont like using win32 api nor mfc and i prefer the unix api that i have learned in the first place. i have seen cygwin and tried it .. it is beautiful piece of work. this will allow portability between windows and unix. i would like to join the development of this software.. i really need to know how serious this project is and how to obtain the source code only, is that source self compiled or does it depend on some extra libraries found in the host. further more i need to know how complete is the mapping of cygwin to unix . and how acurate is the result of the compiling. what libraries are currently missing .. that is all for now . please send me as soon as u can :) always: alex. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
