> Ouch. Ok, just set the gid to 513 in /etc/group or set your > primary group to 10513 in /etc/passwd and try again. Creating the group 513 "by hand" works perfectly, but nonetheless shouldn't "mkpasswd" and "mkgroup" create automatically an "usable" system? If I use "-d" on both I get the correct 10513 group, but creating both with "-l" creates users in group 513 but creates no group 513. -- Lapo 'Raist' Luchini lapo AT lapo DOT it (PGP & X.509 keys available) http://www.lapo.it (ICQ UIN: 529796) -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
