I'm wondering if anybody can answer either of the following questions: 1. Is there an port of RPM for Cygwin active? 2. Has anyone else ever developed and MSI-based Cygwin installer? I'm currently building and MSI installer for our internal use for the patching, upgrading, and removal capabilities. I'm wondering if there are other efforts out there to pump up the setup's capability to handle these kinds of deployment concerns. I'm also interested in hearing if anyone has considered MSI or would be interested in working on it.
