I am porting a program that uses Serial Communication from UNIX to CYGWIN. The program sends some data over the serial cable and then goes into waiting-mode for an ACK/NACK package. The old program did this with a call to read(), which waits until there is something in the serial port buffer. For some strange reason my program now locks up when I call upon read(). Can anybody tell me what the problem could be?? Roland __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Great stuff seeking new owners in Yahoo!
