Hi! I try to use rsync 2.5.1 with cygwin and get the following error under w2k: .... setsockopt IPTOS_THROUGHPUT: Invalid argument receiving file list ... done .... Under Win98 no error message is written. I use the local <-> remote machine method with no rsync server. the second problem is, that all my downloaded binaries files are broken. Textfiles are ok but binaries are broken (excel, pdf,...). I used CYGWIN=binmode tty and ssh as the connection mode. I hope someone can help me out.
