Hi All... ssh -L nnn:localhost:nnnn breaks when the remote (sshd) machine is running 1.3.6-2. The previous (1.3.5-3) version is ok. For example: user AT LOCAL ~ $ ssh -L 5901:localhost:5900 user Enter passphrase for key '/home/user/.ssh/id_rsa': Last login: Tue Dec 4 09:25:32 2001 from user user AT REMOTE ~ $ channel 2: open failed: connect failed: Bad address The error message appears when I locally try to connect to the port. This test was done with Win2k SP2 for both machines. I was using VNC to connect to the port.
