Has anyone used flex++ successfully within cygwin?

AFAICT it needs iostream support, and we don't appear to have any
inbuilt STL code with gcc. I presume gcc-3 will change that, but I'm
looking at _now_.

(FWIW this came up when I tried to alter setup to have a c++ based
parser).
