My application (build with unix layer, recent cygwin distro, win2K) cant call other programs using the system() fucntion when started from outside the cygwin enviroment. I have tryed out both posix and unix complete path without success. Here is a simple code that reproduces the problem: main() { system("notepad"); } It works fine when invoked from within cygwin but when called fron windows nothing happens. Anyone knows what i am doing wrong ?
