I hope this is a silly question.

The cygwin ssh port here makes RSA and DSA private key files that are world
readable... So they are aparently useless.  "chmod 600 id_dsa"  has no
effect on NTFS. 

I assume there is someway to overcome this problem, but I haven't found it.
