Thank you.  doing that *shouldn't* be necessary -- but it quite 
obviously IS.  I wonder though -- if people refuse to read an email that 
says "!!!! WARNING WARNING !!!! Updating ncurses" and is sent directly 
to their very own INBOX, how likely are they to read the FAQ?
