Hi Folks, I'm using cygwin/bash on an W2K box on a corporate network. Some days, it takes 10-15 seconds for a response to a simple command (eg. cat hello.txt). This is both on network drives and local (!). If I open cmd.exe, however, the DOS prompt doesn't have any delays... (eg. type hello.txt). Response is instantaneous. Any ideas how I go about debugging this? My path includes only /usr/bin. Thanks, ===== Greg Bell (858)860-6400 x7661 __________________________________________________ Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?
