Subject: ROOT

Hello,
i have donwloaded and installed CYGWIN on my PC, wow the process is
simple and very smooth, i must say it's great.
The reason is i want build the kernel for COLFIRE processor (M5272).
I have downloaded binutils-2.10 and gcc-2.95.3 and automated script to
build the tools. The problem is the script doens't even start, it
complains me that i am not ROOT.
Can anybody give me little help to start the process? The question may
be simple, and i have gone thruogh the file archives to find similar
problems and answers, but i cannot find anything of help.

Thanks a lot,
Stefano.
