Hi Corinna, thanks for the quick reply - please find information below. > -----Original Message----- > From: cygwin-owner AT sources DOT redhat DOT com > [mailto:cygwin-owner AT sources DOT redhat DOT com]On Behalf Of Corinna Vinschen > Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2001 11:43 AM > To: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com > Subject: Re: 1.3.2: bash-2.0.5(6) -autoconf 2.52 AC_OUTPUT problem on > W2K > > > On Tue, Sep 11, 2001 at 10:47:18AM +0200, Manfred Reinart wrote: > > > > Hi, > > > > I have a problem with the combination of > > - GNU bash, version 2.05.0(6)-release (i686-pc-cygwin) > > - autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.52 > > on W2K. > > > > DOS CR/LF line ends in the parameter passed to AC_OUTPUT cause > > config.status to fail. > > Are you using binmode mounts? Which ash version are you using? I have installed ash 20010827-1. I have configured no special mounts - I just installed Cygwin and include "C:\cygwin\bin" in my PATH settings. Here is the output of 'mount' - which indicates that binmode is obviously used by default: ------------------------------- bash-2.05$ mount C:\cygwin\bin on /usr/bin type system (binmode) C:\cygwin\lib on /usr/lib type system (binmode) C:\cygwin on / type system (binmode) c: on /cygdrive/c type user (binmode, noumount) ------------------------------- I also just tried the recently release bash-2.0.5-8 - and this behavior persists. > > Corinna > > -- > Corinna Vinschen Please, send mails > regarding Cygwin to > Cygwin Developer > mailto:cygwin AT cygwin DOT com > Red Hat, Inc. > > -- > Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple > Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html > Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html > FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ > -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
