Status report: I just sent in an updated version of Paul's fix, along with mucho documentation updates in ld.texinfo describing the bug and workarounds. See this (new) thread: [RFA] [pei-386] prevent ld (auto-import) from generating broken code http://sources.redhat.com/ml/binutils/2001-09/msg00162.html I'll let it simmer for a day or so, and then ask (on the binutils list) if it's okay for me to commit it. --Chuck -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
