You can get fortune from: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/games/amusements/fortune/fortune-mod-9708.tar.gz Change the makefile so REGEXDEFS=-DHAVE_REGEX_H -DPOSIX_REGEX and it will build correctly. I created a cygwin-tips database from the source of the FAQ file how-using.texinfo. Works like a charm. I could easily add in the other how-* files and automate this with perl.
