Subject: Problem in using telnet (inetutils-1.3.2-14)

Hello,

I have installed inetutils-1.3.2-14 to my server (running windows 2000
advanced server) and followed the readme file to set up and start the
inetd by administrator.

I have created a user USER1 and telnet the server using this account. I
found that the user become SYSTEM after login.

CYGWIN_NT-5.0 1.3.2(0.39/3/2) (trynas01) (tty0)

login: user1
Password:
Fanfare!!!
You are successfully logged in to this server!!!

SYSTEM AT TRYNAS01 ~
$ id
uid=18(SYSTEM) gid=18(SYSTEM)
groups=0(Everyone),513(None),545(Users),1012(oper),1013(smef)

SYSTEM AT TRYNAS01 ~
$ whoami
SYSTEM

However, if I touch a file, the file owner will become user1.

What is the problem?
