is there a way to increase this (set default = 32768 chars) ?? if i "make args" where args.length > 32768, i get the error. ps : i could not find an env variable by this name or any other that appeared to do the trick. ps2: there may be a workaround - by using xargs - but i want to see if cygwin environment can be modified to handle the situation. jules
