ftp client complains that ~/.netrc is readable by others.. $ ls -al .netrc -rw-r--r-- 1 dnormand 544 99 Aug 27 09:30 .netrc I've been every which way to remove the perms for 'Group' and 'world' with no joy. In Cygwin.bat I've tried: set CYGWIN=binmode notty ntsec set CYGWIN=binmode notty ntea Am I pooched or have I missed something? I'm not subscribed to the list, so please cc me!
