sorry, im new to cygwin & to the systems it adheres to.

yup, its a TeX question.
im trying to use its different binaries: pdftex, texi2dvi & etc.
i can makeinfo properly now, but when i use the others,
i get:
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-14f-released-20000525 (Web2C 7.3.3)
I can't find the format file `pdftex.fmt'!
or:
! You have to increase POOLSIZE.

...any help would be taken gratefully:)
