Subject: | no ls? no mkdir? |
hi. I downloaded and ran the v1.3.2 setup.exe on two win98 (pentium II) machines. ** On both pc's **: cygwin wouldn't start after a full download. I found that bash and cygwin1.dll were missing. i got bash and hunted the dll down but then i got a mkdir error on cygwin startup and couldn't even do an ls: "command not found". pls cc: me as i'm not a list member. Also, i may not be able to get mail for the few days, sorry. i know setup.exe is new but boy, does it need an unselect all and to report the # of KB per app and Help to explain that the local directory needs to be a large temporary storage area, not your floppy. thanks george -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
