Hello,

I am trying to use the @pathnames expansion (see
http://www.cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using-specialnames.html#AEN852 ), but it seems not to work:
>/usr/bin/echo @mylist
@mylist
>/bin/echo @mylist
@mylist
>echo @mylist
@mylist
>cat mylist
This   is   "a     long"  line

What could be the problem?

Thank you for your help.
Bye,
Joachim

P.S.
My version of cygwin:
>uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-4.0 MU0A2057 1.3.2(0.39/3/2) 2001-05-20 23:28 i686 unknown
>bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.05.0(6)-release (i686-pc-cygwin)
