I just tried to make the whois package from http://www.student.uni-koeln.de/cygwin/Distribution/Library/, but it's not working. The output from make looks like this... $ make gcc -o whois -O -lBSD whois.c whois.c: In function `main': whois.c:81: warning: assignment discards qualifiers from pointer target type /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.3-5/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cann ot find -lBSD collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [whois] Error 1 Does anyone know why this failed and/or if there's something I can do to make this work? -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
