Subject: | Cron problem |
MIME-Version: | 1.0 |
Hi cygwin guru, I couldn't get cron working under W2K. I installed cron with cygrunsrv as NT service, started it but cron jobs seems to be not working. The Event viewer shows a couple of messages per every event: "The decription for Event ID(0) in Source(Cygwin)could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s):(pcnet) CMD (echo "Hello Sergey") and: "The decription for Event ID(0) in Source(Cygwin)could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s):(CRON) error (can't switch user context) Any clue to fix the problem? -- Best regards, Sergey mailto:ser DOT mel AT home DOT com -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
