John,

Congrats on the bug fix... you beat me to it... although after having been
away from *NIX for 5 years I can't say it was something that I was looking
forward to rooting out...

I tested it out on both of the files (one very large, one very small) that I
was having trouble with and it worked fine...

I see you submitted the patch to Purdue.  We may see a 5.7a in a while.

Thanks for the good work, from myself and, I'm sure, all the other cygwin
RCS users...
