I have just installed cygwin for the first time on win98 and i have installed all the packages from /latest. Everytime i tried to compile my c source files with gcc, i got this error message: "gcc: installation problem, cannot exec 'as': No such file or directory" I tried reinstalling cygwin but it doesn't help. I guess nobody had this problem before because i can't find the answer on the faq or this mailing list. Can someone help me? Thanks. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
