In a temporary directory, I ran: cp /bin/{make,bash,sh,sed,gawk,cp,mv,cygwin1.dll} . Everything worked correctly apart from sed, which was copied to 'sed' (with no extension) I removed sed, and tryed again, copying only sed: cp /bin/sed . Same problem. cp /bin/sed.exe . Worked fine. Strange problem! The rest of CygWin is working wonderfully, though - thanks for the great product! Max. -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Check out: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
