Hi!

I'm a newbie concerning cygwin and I have a problem with latex which I hope
you can help me with. After installing cygwin (on Win 2000) and xfree I get
the following error when running latex:

This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.3)
I can't find the format file `latex.fmt'!

Can anybody help me?
