When compiling gcc-3.0, try:
	${srcdir}/configure --enable-sjlj-exceptions --disable-shared
--disable-libgcj

The new exception handling stuff doesn't work on cygwin, but is enabled.
GNATS PR 3099 and some discussion on gcc-bugs.
