Hi All... I just did a clean install with the new (bigger :) ) setup. Well...I first download to a local directory and then run setup again to install from a local directory. I cleaned out the registry and deleted the old c:\cygwin directory. setup download from internet (to local dir) setup install from local dir what I got was... 1) the cygwin1.dll and most .exe files in C:\cygwin\usr\bin with a few in c:\cygwin\bin 2) passwd and group files (in c:\cygwin\etc) both had zero length 3) c:\cygwin\home not created so then I ran setup install from internet and I got some more exe files in c:\cygwin\bin but still not usable. Thanks, ...Karl _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
