hi,

i developed a program (in java) launching processes on
solaris.
for that, i use a posix library ad a jni interface.
when i port my program into windows, i encounter problems.
my program is unable to load my posix library because (i
think) the os is winnt and not solaris.
i don't want to change any code.
this is the aim of cygwin, isn't it ? How could i do it ?

i encounter another problem with cygwin1.dll. I want to use
it instead of msvcrt.dll. but some functions seems to not
work correctly : for instance, sleep, execXXX,
this is perhaps the case of whole functions bound to
processes.

thanks a lot for your lights
jean
