Hiya. I just downloaded cygwin 1.3.1 and installed on a windows 2000 laptop. I'm trying to change file permissions, but nothing ever happens: >administrator AT KOROCUST ~ >$ ls -l >total 1 >-rw-r--r-- 1 administ None 5 May 17 16:40 foo > >administrator AT KOROCUST ~ >$ chmod -v 600 foo >mode of foo changed to 0600 (rw-------) > >administrator AT KOROCUST ~ >$ ls -l >total 1 >-rw-r--r-- 1 administ None 5 May 17 16:40 foo Anyone seen anything like this? Know how to fix it? - Ert (Please Cc: me, I'm not on the list) -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Check out: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
