When I used the cygwin1.dll-snapshot 20010508 (in Win98) There's always 3 bash process started! (the system doesn't work of course) I using rxvt-2.7.2-w32e and cygwin-1.1.8, bash-2.05-6 and replace the cygwin1.dll by the cygwin1.dll snapshot. the batch file I used to create a cygwin-window is @ECHO OFF SET MAKE_MODE=UNIX set cygwin=notty nontsec nontea set HOME=c:\cygwin\home SET PATH=.;c:\cygwin\usr\local\bin\;c:\cygwin\bin;%PATH% rxvt -fn "Courier" -title CYGWIN -sl 300 -C -sr +ut -e bash --login -i I try bash --login -i and still 2 bash processes started! I downgrade the cygwin1.dll to the 20010428 snapshot, and it works fine! I don't know if there's any wrong in my setting! Thanx -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
