Subject: newbie: emacs & cygwin integration
Mime-Version: 1.0

Hi,

I couldn't find this in the FAQ, the docs, or the mailing list
archives.... My apologies as I know it must've been asked before.

Does anyone have any Emacs 20.3 extensions to integrate Emacs & Cygwin/Bash
together?

1. Specifically, is there anyway to get dired or filename completion to
work with cygwin mounts?

2. Is there anyway to get emacs' typical dired "follows the current
directory of the shell behavior" so that typing "cd" in an emacs' bash
shell sets emacs so that a dired at that moment will be in the right shell?

If this is in the FAQ I apologize, if it's not in the FAQ, it seems that
Emacs & Cygwin Integration would be a wonderful addition to the FAQ.

Thank you,

Jerry Asher
