It does indeed compile out-of-the-box (I've seen many fixes about
compiling on CygWin on thei bugtracker) but I have a problem: when the
source is LOCAL (I mean passing the filename to rsync) I get a "read
error" AFTER everithing is finished and did well.

This is the last lines of "-v -v -v" output:

> match at 25200 last_match=25200 j=36 len=700 n=0
> match at 25900 last_match=25900 j=37 len=387 n=0

The "total size" lineis the last of the normal output and file is
actually transfered perfectly (I checked with md5sum), it's a bit
strange..
Maybe a problem of 1.1.8?

Anyway the original question was interesting: why not including in the
Cygwin distro?

C ya =)
