Hi, I've got 1.1.8, and less scrolls to the end of the file without pausing at pages. My TERM is set to cygwin. Command line editing in bash is fine, and I don't get any "unknown terminal" messages out of less. Here's stty: bash-2.04$ stty -a speed 38400 baud; rows 25; columns 80; line = 0; intr = ^C; quit = ^\; erase = ^H; kill = ^U; eof = ^D; eol = <undef>; eol2 = <undef>; start = ^Q; stop = ^S; susp = ^Z; rprnt = ^R; werase = ^W; lnext = ^V; flush = ^O; min = 1; time = 0; -parenb -parodd cs8 -hupcl -cstopb cread -clocal -crtscts -ignbrk brkint -ignpar -parmrk -inpck -istrip -inlcr -igncr icrnl ixon -ixoff -iuclc -ixany -imaxbel opost -olcuc -ocrnl onlcr -onocr -onlret -ofill -ofdel nl0 cr0 tab0 bs0 vt0 ff0 isig icanon iexten echo -echoe -echok -echonl -noflsh -tostop -echoctl -echoke bash-2.04$ Which looks normal to me. Any ideas? thanks, charles -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Check out: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
