Dementia, loss of oxygen to the brain, poor judgement, a fascination with
antiques... ;-)

Actually, Mark's desire was to get a version of the DLL that played nice
with PostgreSQL, since there are problems with 1.1.8-x versions.  Of course,
an upcoming snapshot should address the same issue.
