i just installed cygwin 1.1.8 on my Windows 98 (version 2).
At the bash shell prompt, i tried to make
hello.exe program by following the example 4-1 in the "Cygwin user's Guide",
but got an error:
$ gcc hello.c -o hello.exe
/usr/lib/libcygwin.a(libcmain.o)(.text+0x6a):libcmain.c: undefined reference
to `WinMain AT 16'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Would you let me what is wrong with my cygwin configuration?
