I am installing Cygwin 1.1.8 on Windows Advanced 2000. I downloaded setup.exe from www.cygwin.com & running it, mirror site being ftp://ftp.sunsite.utk.edu. It was(is?) doing fine, till it came to contrib/gdbm, from which point it says "Unable to download" for all the packages !! Contrib as well as latest ! The download is still going on, & it takes nearly 5-10 mins before it pops up that error message. Is anything wrong with the download? Should I stop & start the download again? I have Cygwin on another NT, & that's just fine. Please anybody reply asap. Thanks.. SS -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Check out: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
