Just an aside....I love Cygwin. Thanks for a great program.

My question is this - Is there any way to host a mud through cygwin on a
machine running win2k and allow for outside ports to open so that other
people can come from outside of the system to play the game? I know that
there may be a security issue with 2k, but i just wanted to check with the
list and see if there are any easy answers out there.

thanks,
david
