GNU id-utils 3.2d compiles OOTB, but mkid generates invalid databases. lid segfaults trying to parse it (even if I copy that database so a Linux system and use lid there). Copying an ID database from Linux and using CygWin lid works fine. (BTW all my mounts use `binmode', so I think it's not a text/binary file issue.) Any ideas? Searching the mainling list archives for `id-utils' gave no useful messages among the first 100 matches (since 2000/07).
