Hmm... What happens if you
gcc -L /usr/lib/mingw -mwindows -mno-cygwin -DDBG -s
-Wl,--out-implib,Packet.a
-mdll -o Packet.dll Packet.def Packet32.o
instead. The -L switch is position dependent, although it shouldn't be
required.
