Subject:	gdb hangs up on win 98

When I use gdb (GNU gdb 5.0 (20001125-1)) and call the target setting, the 
program hangs up totally so that I must restart my computer by a hw reset. 
Anyone experienced the same? On NT the same gdb version worked fine.
