Hi,
I have installed cygwin and want to configure/build binutils from the
sources.

My directory structure is /home/deepak
- binutils
- binutils-20001221-1
- build
- exe
I am configuring only binutils gas and ld.
The environment variable MAKE_MODE is UNIX.
I configure binutils by giving the following command in the build directory.
../binutils-20001221-1/configure --prefix=~/binutils/exe -v

It configures properly. When i do a make it gives me the following error
---------------------------------------------
libtool:link:only absolute paths are allowed.
----------------------------------------------
and says leaving the directory /home/deepak/binutils/build/bfd.

please do help me
thanks in advance
deepak
